Figured it is time to take some of the confusion out of the different versions of Microsoft Windows Vista. Every time we sell a new system we find ourselves repeating the same answers to customers. Many consumers are confused and have no idea what the differences are between Home Basic – Home Premium – Ultimate – Business and Enterprise. We have compiled a handy little chart to assist you in your buying decision. You will notice we have left out Home Basic because it really serves no purpose in the market place in our opinion.
Home Basic doesn’t have; Aero – Tablet PC – Media Center – DVD Maker – Movie Maker – Scheduled backup and Premium Games. Not having the Aero UI and Media Center makes it an unattractive purchase, but if money is that tight then I guess it will do. You will also notice that we didn’t include Enterprise because most enterprises will need it and everyone else on the planet isn’t interested, plus most major companies have IT staff that are savy with the product and know what they are buying.
